Taco Bueno brought back a seasonal favorite for the holidays: rich, tender tamales available in chicken or pork. Working alongside Wolfman Creative, the agency lead for the campaign, Willis Inspire supported production, photography, video, and editing, helping bring the creative to life with campaign-ready food visuals and video assets.

The Challenge

Holiday food campaigns need to feel timely without losing appetite appeal. For Taco Bueno, the return of tamales had to feel seasonal, craveable, and easy to understand across several formats.

The work needed to highlight the tamale lineup, including chicken or pork tamales, a 3-pack, a dozen, and the Tamale Combo Platter with chili sauce, cheese, crispy taco, rice, and homemade beans. It also needed to flex across different end tags, including the Taco Bueno app, Dallas Cowboys, and OKC Thunder.

The Idea

The campaign centered on a simple seasonal message: Tamales are Back.

With bold red and green backdrops, warm tabletop food styling, wrapped-gift cues, and craveable close-ups, the visuals made the return of tamales feel like a holiday moment. The food needed to feel rich, tender, handmade, and worth waiting for, while staying unmistakably Taco Bueno.

The Campaign

Willis Inspire helped translate the agency creative into a focused production and content package. The shoot captured video and photography for Taco Bueno’s Holiday Tamales campaign, including chicken and pork tamales, the 3-pack, dozen, and Tamale Combo Platter.

The final Willis Inspire asset package included the :30 spot, :15 cutdowns, :06 ads, app tag, Cowboys tag, OKC Thunder tag, social edits, and hero photography. Wolfman used the photography we produced to create the final POP deliverables, extending the campaign across in-store and customer-facing touchpoints.
